Ristorante Vini da Pinto Rialto - Entrance

Welcome to Vini da Pinto

Authentic Venetian cuisine served in elegant surroundings with 14th and 16th century architectural features.

The Antico Ristorante Vini da Pinto is a short walk from the Rialto Bridge. As you enter Campo delle Beccarie with the famous Rialto fish market on your right, you’ll see Vini da Pinto to your left. Since 1890, it has served excellent wines, and in the 30 years since it opened as a restaurant, it has built a fine reputation for the quality of its cuisine, serving Venetian dishes to locals and visitors alike.

Vini da Pinto was originally an osteria, gastronomically one step up from a wine bar, in that it served meals, but it was still mostly about the wine (hence the vini in its name). When the osteria became a restaurant, it retained the emphasis on wine. Now our guests enjoy the best of both worlds: wines from every Italian region – as well as some superb Champagne – together with authentic Venetian cuisine.

Presenting local specialities with flair, the restaurant is located in a living, breathing part of Venice – and one that happens to be steeped in history.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner the first night so much that we went back the 2nd night. The wait staff are friendly, funny and great at what they do. The owner is wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable of food & wine. The food is fantastic. The bathrooms are clean and roomy.
We will highly recommend Vini Da Pinto to anyone.

My friend and I had an amazing dinner here on the opening night of the carnival. It was easy to find behind the fish market. The Jacob scallops was simply mind blowing for starters. Enjoy!

This place was a pleasant find. Every staff member was lovely. The owner is very attentive. The food was reasonably priced for the Rialto area and EXCELLENT! We were lucky enough to visit while the delectable baby crabs were in season which was delicious as was the risotto with shrimp and lemon. It was very “Amalfi Coast” with a strong lemon zest. TOP! Great location for people-watching and the restaurant was adorable inside.
